Prayer: A Vital Key to the Restoration Process
Also Jesus told them a parable to the effect
that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward, faint, loose
heart or give up.
Luke 18:1 AMP
When we accept Christ into our hearts, we enter into
a personal relationship with Him. One of the benefits of this relationship
is we now have a blood bought right to fellowship with the Father (God),
the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. We can come boldly to His throne
(through prayer), ask for whatever we need and desire, according to His
Word, and expect Him to answer.
Prayer is simply a conversation with God and His
method for us to grow into an intimate relationship with Him. This fellowship
doesn't just happen because we are now saved. An effective prayer life
has to be developed. What would it be like if you were in relationship
with someone and they never talked with you? How would that make you
feel? How long do you think the relationship would last?
Prayer is a vital part of every believer's life and
is essential to spiritual growth. Talking with God on a consistent basis
provides us with the privilege of knowing His perfect will and purpose
for our lives. It is through prayer that we receive direction, guidance,
strength and power in order to enjoy a victorious life.
While prayer is our tool to communicate with God, it is not a shield
from problems. John 16:33 tells us that in this life we will have trials
and tribulations but we are to be of good cheer because Christ has overcome
the world. Additionally, Romans 8:28 tell us that if we pray, God will
work all things together for our good. In spite of the various obstacles
and hindrances that may come our way, we can rest assured that our fervent
and effectual prayer not only keeps us connected to God, but get results.

Keys to Effective Prayer:
- Do not harbor any unforgiveness towards anyone.
This blocks your prayer life. (Matthew 6:12)
- Pray the Word (What Does God Promise In His Word?)
- Not the Problem
- Pray in agreement with other believers. (Matthew
18:19)
- Walk in obedience to God. (John 9:31)
- When you pray, thank God for the answers (Philippians
4:6)
At Eagles' Summit we have a faithful group of
trained intercessory prayers who petition God and stand in the
gap daily for our pastors, church family and all those connected
with us. We have watched God move miraculously in the lives of
many people as a result of our prayers and obedience to God's Word.
It would be our privilege to agree in prayer with you for your needs
and desires. If you have a specific prayer request, please submit your
request online below and we will forward your prayer request to our Intercessory
Prayer Team. Please e-mail us with your praise report so that we can
rejoice with you and encourage others believers. And they overcame him
