Christian Education Mission
Statement
The mission of Eagles' Summit Christian Fellowship
Church is to restore and rebuild the lives of children and youth under the
leadership
of the
Holy Spirit. For nursery age children, we provide a safe and loving environment
to take care of the physical and spiritual needs of little ones while
their parents worship. Through sound biblical teaching and a variety
of fun Christ-centered experiences and activities, our school-age children
and youth are taught biblical principles to build a strong foundation
necessary to maintain a Christian lifestyle in today's world as
well as leadership skills and true servanthood. Eagles' Summit is committed
to not only reaching and teaching our children and youth, but also to
changing and restoring their lives through the power of God.
NURSERY (Ages Infant - 4)
The
Nursery Department serves youngsters from ages infant to 4 years old.
With God's love working in us, we provide a safe and loving environment
for the little ones of Eagles' Summit.
 Ensuring
that the emotional and physical needs of infants, toddlers, and
preschoolers are being met while under our care.
- Making
sure that the spiritual needs of little ones are being met through
Bible stories, activities, praise & worship and through the
precept and example of teachers.
- Providing
age-appropriate awareness of who Jesus Christ is.
NURSERY CURRICULUM
The nursery curriculum is designed around a schedule where the physical
needs of the infants and toddlers are being met while at the same time
providing stimulating enrichment activities for the older tots. Through
puppets, dance, music and other activities we reach the children at their
age level and learning style.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
 "Then
they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them, but the disciples
rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly
displeased and said to them, Let the children come to Me, and do
not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." Matthew 10: 13 -14
At
Eagles' Summit not only do we value our children but we value
the opportunity to allow them to come unto Christ in their youth.
Because of this we provide opportunities for our  children to
learn the Word of God, learn what it means to be a Christian, and participate
in fun Christian experiences that teach them the seriousness
of Chrsitianity as part of their lives (present and eternal).
In
addition to classroom activities, our children participate in
games, movie nights, annual Easter and Christmas plays, outside
trips and opportunities to serve others of our local body.
YOUTH
MINISTRY (Ages 13-18)
 Apart from God, adolescence can be one
of the most challenging seasons of our youngsters lives.
This is the season when youth
are attempting
to find their own identity apart from their parents and experiencing
an array of emotions among other things. But this is also the
greatest season to make a permanent mark on their lives while their
hearts are
still ripe.
 Through
faith in Jesus Christ, our objective is to share the gospel with
our youth and instill a biblical foundation necessary to develop
and maintain a Christian lifestyle. Our curriculum engages youth
in age appropriate praise and worship experiences, helps them
demonstrate leadership skills and true servanthood and gives
them an opportunity to keep abreast of the "youth's world" by
attending workshops and seminars.
